Problem:In one specific save file, every goaled Social Event is broken.
The event creation wizard skips the "Select Activities" page completely.
Affected events include:
- House Party
- Dinner Party
- Romantic Date
- Blind Date
The event starts immediately after selecting the location and only shows the event timer.
No event goals are generated.
Expected Result: The game should display the "Select Activities" page before starting the event, and event goals should appear normally.
What I tested:
- Repaired the game in EA App
- Deleted localthumbcache.package
- Tested different households
- Created a brand new household inside the same save
- Started a completely new save
Results:
✔ Brand new save works perfectly.
✔ Every household inside the affected save has the same issue.
This confirms the problem is save-specific.
I can reproduce this issue every time in the affected save. It affects every household in that save, while every new save works normally.
Additional Information:
A lastUIException log consistently points to:
SituationCreationWizard
SwitchToSituationEdit()
which appears to be the exact point where the game should open the "Select Activities" page.
The issue started before installing any Custom Content.
I have attached the lastUIException log and comparison screenshots.
