[CD] [CoL] Pets/Farm Animals runs away outside of the map/up in sky

When taking the dog for a walk, neither the sim or dog will stop. Often times the dog is also running off on their own adventure, rather than actually being leashed to the sim. Causing the leash the string across the entirety of the map from sim to dog. The action doesn't complete, meaning it goes on indefinitely. Even when I go to cancel the action, they won't stop until I leave the lot. I've also experienced them glitching to be invisible whilst on walks/jogs, glitching outside of the map and unplayable. Even when using the "Let Out" option for Independent dogs, they won't come home until leashed and walked home, and that's only if the dog model is loaded in.

I thought it was just the lot I was on, but after creating a new save and moving onto a lot it continues to happen.

Walking dogs is so frustratingly buggy, I've had the sims spinning out on the spot, dog stretching the lead and disappearing into oblivion, both of them walking to the areas spawn in spot and just standing there indefinitely, my sim changing into swimwear mid walk and ditching her dog to go swimming. It never works as intended and I don't bother selecting "go on a walk" anymore, just leash the dog and click an area on her lot and choose "go here" that seems to satisfy the need for a walk from the dog and gives my sim the energized moodlet from walking the dog. I never noticed this problem in Brindleton Bay though, the cats and dog world seem to work fine for walking the dog, for me anyway. I play on PS4. 

Yes mine does that too now after the new patch update, but also I notice my dog upon turning to a adult dog morphed into a weirdly flat shaped dog. (Almost 2D instead of the regular 3D dog.)

My Sims live in the Tangled Flat lot, and from there, suddenly, my dogs start walking away. This is my second dog, who is doing this. My Sims also freeze in one place. None of the actions work. All the dogs are going towards the same spot, it is the middle of the mountain on the edge of the water, near the small decorative set piece bamboo cabin with a very high roof.

I'm having this issue too with cats and dogs just walking in one direction right to the edge of the map and then eventually disappearing, and calling them back doesn't work. 

Oh thank God i found this.... Ive been having this issue with the pets for MONTHS. this ties into the issue with the walking where the Dog walks away from your sim while off leash. Dogs will disappear, appearing to move slowly somewhere hidden off map and itll lead to other sims in the household getting stuck on the dog, However, because you cant see the dog in order to click on it, it wont let you reset the dog. which would immediately resolve the issue. instead, you have to go to manage worlds , exit and switch households, come back to the previous household and hope it force reset them. This bug is unbelievably irksome itll lead to kids almost going hungry or stink because everyone in the households interactions are queued up behind the missing dog. 

do you need an actual video because if you play with a dog long enough it certainly happens. Alongside the endless walking off the map when you take pets for walks.
