"Hi all,
We're currently investigating this issue, and testing a fix targeting our July update. We'll share another update in the thread here as soon as we have more to report.
In the meantime, please try removing any flooring or platforms you have directly underneath your roofs. Once the flooring or platforms are removed, your roofs should appear normally for you again. "
I've tried this solution, didn't make any difference after removing flooring/ceiling. Roof still didn't render in the same places. Even completely removing the roof and re building it again made the same broken pattern.
It looks like an invisible room is created under the roofs. For me, it helped to pull the room away using the arrows. The roof was restored as the room was pulled together. I didn't erase anything with the hammer.
This picture shows the roof half restored.

This does not work right it your had trims or platforms in roof area--just leaves nasty gaps and unfinished looks.

I'm not sure what you mean by platforms, but I tried to fix the library roof in Willow Creek by pulling the arrows. I put a new fence around the platform without assembling the fence under the tower roof. I think that's ok.
NB: Don't get me wrong. I still want it fixed.

I also tried the Spencer-Kim-Lewis building. I didn't get any holes. However, I'm unsure if this roof is correct, as I've never studied the roof of this building in detail.
