i found that if you apply ceiling paint it resolves, however, that may have just been me, so if anyone else has this bug and tries ceiling paint let me know if it was a one off :)

SethW05​  Thank you, applying ceiling paint did work! 

Now, if only we could get the default white ceiling in the swatches.....
