I have been playing a lot of Sims 4 in recent weeks and every time I take my sim to Geek Con they hackathon is not showing up on the computers. I have recently deleted, reinstalled, and run a repair of the game. I also did a delete and deleted all EA Sims 4 folders on my pc too and the issue is still appearing.
I had a similar problem where at first even though it was started I couldn't get the option either but after a couple of minutes I was able to do it. never seen that before but then I don't tend to go to these things generally.
And this was after the notification that the competitions began? I've never known the challenges (hackathon, UGT) to be avaialable at the start of the event. There's usually mingle and mix period before I get the notification. Then the challenges show up.
I often play the events at Geek Con and the option to participate in Hackathon is just NOT showing up during the Con now. I've been unable to do it since the last UI event ended.
Same issue here. Even after "Challenges begun" notification Hackatron does not appear (gaming is fine though)
