[CL] [LS] White Screen when loading world with penthouses

qt08​ Yeah, that supports my theory.

Well, it was tricky but I managed to get into San Myshuno. No more white screen.

My penthouse was a residential rental😬. The fix was to enter the lot WITHOUT using the world selection screen and change it back to residential. (Even if your penthouse is a different lot type, this might fix it.) If anyone wants to try, this is what I did:

First, if a playable sim owns the rental, sell it through their "Owned Businesses" panel. If the owner happens to live in one of the worlds that won't load, go to a working world and send the sim there using the "Visit" icon that appears after selecting a lot. Then sell.

Go to Manage Households and move the sim/family that lives in the penthouse to a different world.

Play the family and start a social event that will allow you to choose any lot in the Fashion District. (or Nuevo Corazon, for Ciudad Enamorada.) For example, "Friendly Hangout." Once you arrive, end the social event. Find the penthouse and click its walls to "Visit Lot."

After arrival, enter Build mode. Delete all extra rental units, if any, then change lot type to residential. Done.

*I can't say for certain if the problem was the fact that I had changed the penthouse, or that it was a residential rental. Or both. So if you have not edited your penthouses, focus on changing any rentals in the world back to residential.

I never built on the penthouse of Ciudad Endamorada. Actually, I never built anything in Ciudad Endamorada.

I've merged a few post with the current white screen thread but maybe there's something more going on now (and no, I haven't read all the post yet cause I don't have the capacity right now). Will go through later. 

OK. So I read through most posts and made a new thread for now (might re-merge later depending on the results.

You built on the Ciudad Endamorada penthouse, or is it the original?

I’m having the same issue. My San Myshuno also has the white screen after the patch, and like you, I’ve built on two penthouses before. Ciudad Endamorada works fine for me too.

I tried to attach my lastuiexception.txt but it keeps disappearing. 

Ok, so I finally loaded up my save after patching and my San Myshuno also has the white screen. Ciudad Endamorada works fine, like the person above me stated. The main difference between my two penthouse lots is that I've never built on the Ciudad one, but I have on the San Myshuno one. I placed a whole new lot on it, in fact.

Can you guys confirm whether you've built or placed new lots on any of your penthouses?

When I click on the world Ciudad Enamorada it freezes onto a blank white screen. I can still see the return to world select button but cannot click it. The other options in the top right including the gallery, shop, manage households, notifications menu, and settings are all still interactable. I can still exit to main menu and interact with all those options, but cannot go back to world select. I can also edit sims that live in Ciudad Enamorada but cannot actually play as them since I cannot access the world. I have removed all my cc, turned off all mods, tried repairing the game itself, attempted to start a new save to see if my current save is the issue, but this problem is consistent across everything I have tried. I was able to access the world yesterday but not after the update.
