[CL] Musical Genius: Writing singing song doesn't count

is the main issue the aspiration or that you generally can't license songs as a fairy ?

Did you test if it works with a non-fairy ?

While I was poking around, I later found that it was a song written with a guitar that counted as a singing skill instrument. The songs that are written with singing don't count for the aspiration. If I recall correctly DJ tracks you license don't count either.

I thought that was about not being able to license songs ? Which tasks is this exactly about ? Is this still related to fairies only ?

Sorry, I'm having a lost in translation moment.

My sim can license songs. I'm don't know why they pulled out a guitar and wrote a song that the mailbox has listed as a singing song. 

I think the real problem is that writing a singing instrument song did not count towards the aspiration. Also, at the time the sim in question was a fairy.

Write Song / Book / Lyrics Loses Progress | EA Forums - 4973703  is unrelated but it was also in play. As a fairy I took advantage of not eating and wrote the whole song in one go. 

FYI, I have that problem and voted on it as well.

Does it happen with a non fairy ?

Im testing the whole aspiration right now but it might be best to just make a whole new parent post at this point and start over. I have found some really odd stuff.
