[CoL] Excessive use of Cross Stitch Basket

For me, even *with* or without mods installed it pops up. None of my mods affect the cross stitch activity/skill. The only difference is, it seems random as to what they'll cross stitch, but it's always a large hoop. If they have one in their inventory/pocket, they'll still start a new cross stitch project 😮‍💨 

Yep, I'm getting this too. Loaded up to play the time travel event and my household is constantly going for the cross-stitch. Next time I'm just going to get rid of the basket altogether. 

I've had this in my game for a while, from before the latest patch (25.02.2025), but I can't remember when the change took place.  Hope it's fixed soon as non-creative sims keep doing cross-stitch which is a little jarring!

Same. I can't leave a cross stitch basket in the house to be able to tell them to cross stitch when I want them to, or I'm constantly cancelling their autonomous "start a cross stitch". It's annoying, as it makes the basket functionally useless.

Yes, this causes me never to place it anymore because no matter what their likes or what they are doing, if that basket is on the lot all sims will not leave it alone and do it continuously., drop everything for it as well. Drives me nuts. 

Same thing happens to me! I ending up just deleting it. Super annoying. 

It's very annoying. Cross Stitch Basket, clay, white cake. Why can't it be solved? Sims are obsessively stitching.
