I stopped receiving gifts from birds on my save. I don't get a notification about receiving a gift and it doesn't show up in my inventory, though it counted towards the animal caretaker aspiration.
I'm still receiving gifts from rabbits normally.
How I reproduced it:
- removed mods folder
- deleted localthumbcache
- loaded my save
- interacted with a bird tree placed on residential lot
