Ideas
My game suddenly started replacing the NPCs from Henford on Bagley (creature keeper, mayor etc) with randomly generated sims. The original creature keeper is not dead (he's still in my contact list), but does not show up when called. The mayor suddenly died despite neighbourhood stories being off, as well as aging for non-played households.
I just want the townies to stay the same, without aging or being replaced.. I have seen this bug in the past, but this save game is completely new. Started it yesterday I think, and have since downloaded the latest update. Perhaps it has something to do with that?
Please help.

Hi NotSoSwiftly
to be sure, you're not using any mods/cc ?

i am using mods but it has happened without them as well

Did you remove them before the NPCs got replaced ? Can you duplicate it on a new save game without mods for testing purposes ?
There was a bug with this but it was fixed and I can't duplicate it on the current build (although I didn't play in Henford too long).

sorry for the late reply. For me this bug appears after playing more than an hour in the world. Managed to replicate it completely without mods today, in a fresh save. About 1 hour and 15 minutes in (i also made sure to travel around a bit occasionally, but had my house in Henford) the grocery deliverer was replaced by a random sim, but he is still alive.
