[CONSOLE] Cheats menu getting stuck

You can connect a wireless keyboard to your ps5 through the accessories menu in settings. Same process as adding a new controller.

I get stuck on screen after testing cheats is set i have to save game and start from main screen

I’m having this issue currently after not playing for a while. Frustrating to see this was an issue 9 months ago and it’s still not fixed

Every time I use the cheats in sims4 on console it gets frozen and I have to go to manage worlds to get it out of a frozen state. This is frustrating. Why provide cheats if you can’t use that option? 

Yeah I'm getting this error on ps5. I've decided to just not use cheats as a result (which is fine until you need to reset the sima and can't)

When ever I try to enable cheats for sims the task bar stays on the screen so I have to go to manage worlds to get it to go away and then go back into my game.

I have also had this issue. I do have a USB Bluetooth keyboard and mouse, so thankfully I can get around this issue. But it's a complete hassle having to turn them on and back off when I just want to use the controller.

I just want to add that I'm getting that same problem. It used to happen sometimes, but now it's happening very often, almost every time I use the cheat bar. After opening it and putting in a cheat code, it turns white and the only thing I can do is push start and bring up the menu to save, return to the main menu, manage worlds, etc. Going to manage worlds and then returning to the household will "fix" it temporarily but then the next time I use the cheat bar often the same thing will happen again, and it gets real annoying having to go to manage worlds or the main menu every single time I use the cheat bar.
