[CONSOLE] Unable to rotate roofs & stairs

I am on Xbox getting this when trying to rotate rooms, lots, houses, roofs, and stairs. The LB and RB return me to the tools menu. This completely breaks build mode for me.

Also having this issue, with roofs and stairs. I play on xbox with no cheats. I can rotate using the bumpers or L1 R1 when I first place, but after that when I select the roof or stairs and hit those same buttons it cycles through the rest of the tools on the top. If I select the d-pad icon to 'move object' and attempt again the same thing happens. I have most expansions and other dlcs purchased, and have noticed this issue along with others, such as the game not saving my settings options and auto save not functioning properly as well. This all started around this last update/ new sale. During this time, I purchased and installed blooming rooms, seasons/jungle adventure/spooky stuff bundle, discover university, growing together and parenthood. 

This is happening to me
Trying to build a house but it’s making it difficult I can’t rotate the stairs to where I want them. When I click L1 or R1 it just switches to something in the menu, but other furniture is fine 

This is happening to me too on Xbox Series X. Only on copied roof section not new ones. 

This is happening for me too on Xbox Series X with all content installed and only since the 1 July patch. I can't rotate any roof as tool icons pop up instead of rotating. I tested everything else and although I can rotate items like furniture, plants, doors, garden patches, I found I can't rotate stairs or rooms either. I even tried all other buttons, bumpers and triggers to see if the controls had been changed incase I'd missed it.

I can't share saves as I'm on Xbox.

In build mode, if I copy roof or stairs (have not tried with a room), I cannot rotate the copied object, instead the top menu toggles to the recolour tool and I get an error that the item cannot be recoloured.  

It seems like the controller buttons have been remapped, but don't match the on screen guide on what the buttons do.

I'd much prefer to be able to rotate copied items than toggle to recolour.

Same issue - instead of rotating it toggles the menu going to like recolour tool, gallery, arrow, copy...

I've had this issue with roofs and stairs  - i have not tried copying and rotating a room.  It seems to toggle the menu instead of rotate as though the buttons are remapped (but not showing in the controls overlay)
