My save file became unplayable. I was unable to access Manage Worlds or travel at all. I also noticed items kept disappearing on my lot randomly. The issue started progressively worsening until I could no longer move between lots or interact with the world normally.
I tried repairing the game, clearing cache, testing new saves, and removing all of my mods, but the issue always came back whenever For Rent was installed. The only way to the fix my game was to uninstall the pack completely, which confirmed that it was the source of the problem.
Considering that For Rent is a $40 USD pack, it's really disheartening that it renders the game unplayable. I love the idea for the gameplay and features it comes with but I can't even enjoy it because it breaks my saves. This makes me not want to buy any more sims packs until issues with the packs I own are resolved.
