do you have other pre-patch saves that haven't been modded at all and it happens on those too or all your pre-patch saves modded at some point ?
Have you tried replacing chairs/sofas ?

Hello! All of my save files are the same household across time and were all at some point unfortunately modded, so I don't have a good baseline sadly. That being said I do have super old saves from years ago that are also still experiencing the same issue, just not as frequently (my most recent save it happens every time I click a sofa (sit interaction never present), my older saves it happens maybe one in every 10 times I click a sofa (however, sit interaction is present in the old saves). I do have a few saves from August/June of this year that load--and yes, the issue persists there, as well.
I have tried replacing chairs/sofas with new chairs/sofas, I've also tried a hard clean of the save (removing mods, clearing cache, rebooting game, "save as" into a new slot), repairing the save, and uninstalling and reinstalling the game. Issue persists.
Some other things I've found in my troubleshooting (all unmodded):
- Happens for loveseats and sofas including benches but NOT for sectionals or regular chairs. LE does not discriminate between different sofas from different packs/base game, etc. LEs for all.
- LEs are only occurring for some sims in the household--not all sims are experiencing the issue
- LEs occur even after the chair and sim are reset
- I can't really pinpoint why, but there are rare moments when I boot up my save to test and it doesn't generate any LEs but 90% of the time it does. In all instances, the sit interaction is never present in the newer saves but is available in the older saves (although LE may still occur).
- It's weird because sometimes the LE won't trigger AND the sit interaction isn't available so clearly something's wrong even if no LE is present. Maybe 2 separate issues?

Questions:
- How many romantic interests does your current Sim have, and how many of them are in the area at the time the error occurs?
- Do you get the same error if you try placing and clicking on a romantic picnic blanket?
Here's some suggestions from them:
- Moving your Sim out of and back into their home lot
- Clearing all romantic relationships on your Sim, which can be done with MCCC (MCCC > Relationships > Delete Relationship). You can cheat to restore them again after trying this
- This bug fix mod by woahlookatthesun may potentially correct the error. Ignore the fact that it says it's for knitting. Let us know if this works for you or not!
