So, I am building right now and my ceiling is just gone? According to the yellow line, it says I have a ceiling, but you can clearly see there's no ceiling.
I have to remove the ceiling and build it again for it to be a closed off room.
Yes, I do have mods, but I have the same issue without mods.

Hi. This is my first time coming on here and wanted to share what I'm newly experiencing after the July 1st update. This is definitely new to me, especially giving the fact I've been playing sims 4 for over 4 years now. since the update when I go to build with the "full" room wall tool (not the single wall) the ceiling doesn't automatically appear. I have to first click on the highlighted yellow line and delete the ceiling, then click again on the highlighted yellow line to build the ceiling. I used to be able to use the full wall room tool, make the box I want and the ceiling/flooring on top would already be there. It's not a huge deal just a little annoying that those extra steps have to be made but I figured I would share it in case anyone else has noticed it too. I hope I explained everything well, I'm not much of a writer and struggle explaining details in words lol.

I'm also having this exact same issue both with and without mods. Also after I copy and paste a room the ceiling does not carry over to the pasted room.
When you build a room it appears with no roof, i do not use mod or cc, with personalizing the shape of the room doesnt occur, it happens sometimes

I'm having the exact same issue, and its only started happening after the July 1st base game update. Even without mods and with the cache cleared, the problem still occurs. My walls are all the way up, and my camera is set to the tallest it can for the build, yet when I try to add a ceiling, it says that there is a ceiling there, so to make it a completely closed room I have to remove then re-add the ceiling for it to work.

Same. Happened right after the Jul 02 update. I tested by building 10 4x4 rooms on all the lot sizes 20x15 to 64x64. On average 4 had no ceilings. On a 40x30 lot 6 rooms had no ceilings. I used the room tool. I tried in 6 different worlds and with 4 different Sims. It is random. To fix, I just redrew the affected room using the room tool. Easier than going up a view to see the yellow line and clicking on it to build a ceiling. It is not game breaking, but it is annoying,

Same with my game, since the basegame update. I tried the basics (reload the game, deactivate mods, clear the cache) but nothing to do. It seems random and is very annoying as I only build in the Sims

Omg I thought I was the only one experiencing the missing ceiling!!! It's only happening to be when I use the full room wall tool instead of the single wall tool. I know it's not that big of a deal but still annoying know that sometimes I'll just be building away and not even check for the ceiling . Please look into this bug as well ea.

All of my roofs on the top floor of my build are invisible unless currently highlighted. This is in build mode - I haven't tried it in live mode yet. This was not happening before the recent update.
