Disappearing Saves

I set a timer to save every half hour so I know this is a bug... My sim had an easel in his inventory and he traveled to Sulani. I took the easel out of his inventory and placed it on the beach community lot and my game crashed. I saved about 10 minutes before the crash and multiple other saves before that. When I re-loaded the game, It showed that My last save was before 9pm and the crash happened at around midnight. There were 6 saves in that time period that just vanished! this has happened to me before too just a few days ago but I thought it was due to an outdated mod then. This time I didn't have my mods installed yet as it was my first run after the 5/12/26 update and my entire mods folder was still on my computers desktop. Both crashes happened when my Sim traveled to Sulani but it was on different lots.
