Discovery Quests: Certain quests have blank text

Same and they keep coming back after deleting😐

Platform: PlayStation 5

Game Version: Latest as of May 22, 2025

Expansion/Game Packs Installed: [List any you own here, or write “Base game only”]

Mods/CC Used: No (not available on PS5)

Internet Connection: Wired/WiFi

Issue:

I’m experiencing a persistent bug with Discovery Quests in The Sims 4 on PS5 — specifically the “Always on the Move” quest shows blank text instead of objectives or descriptions.

I have tried the following steps to resolve the issue:

• Restarted the game and console
• Cleared the PS5 cache (full shutdown and unplugged)
• Verified the game is fully up to date
• Reinstalled the game twice
• My save files are unaffected otherwise, but this quest issue has been stuck for months now.

Expected Result:

The “Always on the Move” quest should display clear objectives and be completable.

Actual Result:

The quest shows up blank — no text, no direction, and cannot be completed.

Reproduction Steps:

1. Load game on PS5
2. Wait for Discovery Quest notification or check Simology panel
3. Observe blank quest text (under Discovery Quests)

This issue is making it impossible to complete the quest or progress in that feature. Please let me know if there’s a workaround or if a fix is in the works.

Hi all, for a while now I have had the normal auto quests/tasks pop up, you and your phone, always on the move and lifelong aspirations but it is not showing any actual task - just the title. Not sure why, I have loaded my game onto a new pc and tried to transfer my old sims 4 files from my old pc so it may be something to do with that but I am not sure how to fix it. If anyone has any thoughts on this could they contact me. Its really annoying as I am doing a rags to riches and it is a good way to get some money.

I am on PC and have no mods or cc's

My discovery quests, the ones in the right-hand corner have been gone since the back the future quest. This same thing happened to me during the reaper's rewards quest but was able to fix it in no time. I've tried doing the same, and then some to fix it this time. I thought I'd wait it out, but nothing has changed and I'm getting really annoyed someone please help. I've tried deleting multiple filles, disabling/enabling mods and rebooting the EA app hundreds of times. (pc)

Hey, so I had this problem for a while, but it really has been bugging me lately. The discovery quests keep showing up empty, like without the actual quests. I read the laundry list, that they fixed them repeatedly showing up, but in my game they´re just empty, so I cant fulfil the quests. Sometimes one of them randomly becomes visible. I checked if it has anything to do with my Mods (TOOL and BetterBuildBuy), but it still won´t work without them or with them disabled. Has anyone had a similar problem?

I had the same issue for a while,but I don`t have any of those mods you listed,anyway the issue got fixed either by itself or after the last patch update,I am not sure how.I am also cleaning all those cache files and packages created by game,except AcountDataDB and ClientDb almost after every session,not sure if that fixed it either.
