[DO] Can't request table in restaurant on a date

Hello! When playing the sims 4 I have asked other sims on a date or to hang out then travel to a restaurant. When requesting a table to be seated, nothing happens. The game doesn't proceed to the next action for the couple/friends to be seated. I have repaired and updated the game, but still no solution. I have noticed that when my sim is alone and requests a table to sit and dine, they are able to do so. It only happens during an event like asking on a date or hang out. I have tried different venues as well and happens no matter what venue I choose. Please how can this be fixed?

    Same issue, during events. Since the last update I've had this issue and also lost all of the event items I'd won during the last event.

      Me too! It doesn't matter if my Sims are on a date or just out for a meal with someone, the request table action just gets ignored & disappears. However, I have tested various restaurant/group  situations and found that my Sims can be seated normally in some restaurants no matter how many in their party ( I didn't test all restaurants with the "on a date" option though). This all started since the last update.

    I'm having the same issue.  My sims can travel there normally and get seated.  During regular dates or create a dates, they talk to the server but nothing happens.  Maybe the restaurants have a new no romance policy in place?  lol

    At least I see I’m not the only one. Must be the new update. Hopefully they fix this immediately! It sucks! All my dates end badly now lol

    Yes, I keep having this with my game, never used to happen, but now I can request a table, the greeter will search on the screen, then do nothing. I watched my sim's family come in after him, get a table, eat and leave, while queuing up to request a table. Nothing happens except I get annoyed. It's my super sim so how is he meant to collect those Chez Llama photos?!

    Happened in mine to I can't have dates at restaurants anymore
