[DU] NPC Servo stuck in breakdown loop

Issue Description:
An NPC Servo (robot Sim from the Discover University expansion pack) keeps breaking down, moving slightly, then breaking down again in a continuous loop. The Servo will not leave the lot. On a residential lot, there is no option to ask the Servo to leave.

On a community lot, when the Servo is in an open area, the option to "Call a Repairman" appears, but the repairman arrives, states there is nothing to repair, and leaves. The Servo continues the breakdown loop indefinitely until the player's active Sim goes home.

Expected Behavior:

  • An NPC Servo should either leave the lot after breaking down or be repairable by a repairman NPC.
  • On a residential lot, there should be an option to ask the NPC Servo to leave (similar to other NPC visitors).
  • The repairman should be able to identify and repair the broken Servo when called.
  • The Servo should not become permanently stuck in an infinite breakdown/movement loop.

Steps to Reproduce:

  1. Install Discover University expansion pack (introduces Servo robots) .
  2. Have an NPC Servo visit or spawn on a residential lot.
  3. Allow the Servo's Durability motive to deplete, causing it to break down (Servo will stop functioning and need repair) .
  4. Observe the Servo's behavior over time.

Actual Result:

  • The NPC Servo enters a continuous loop: breaks down → moves slightly → breaks down again.
  • The Servo never leaves the lot on its own.
  • On residential lots: No "Ask to Leave" interaction is available for the Servo.
  • On community lots (when Servo is outdoors/in open area): The "Call a Repairman" option appears.
  • When called, the repairman arrives, says "there is nothing to repair," and leaves.
  • The Servo remains stuck in the loop indefinitely.
  • The only way to stop the loop is for the player's active Sim to travel home.

Additional Notes:

  • Servo is a fully playable robot life state introduced in Discover University. Servo has a Durability motive that depletes over time; when Durability is low, Sims can perform Tune Ups. If Durability fully depletes, Servo breaks down and needs to be repaired. If not repaired for a certain length of time, Servo becomes scrap metal and is gone forever .
  • This bug appears to affect NPC Servos specifically, not Servos in the player's active household.
  • The issue may be related to how the game handles NPC autonomy for Servos, which are normally controllable when in the active household but may have incomplete AI routines when acting as visitors.
  • Servo cannot be enhanced or upgraded to be immune to water, but the repair system is supposed to function normally .
  • The breakdown loop is distinct from the "mean Servo" behavior issue reported by other players, where Servos retain hidden emotional buffs even after trait changes .

Impact:
Disrupts gameplay when NPC Servos appear on lots. The infinite loop creates visual and audio clutter, may cause performance issues, and blocks other NPC interactions. The inability to ask the Servo to leave on residential lots means players cannot remove the stuck NPC without traveling away. The repairman's failure to recognize the Servo as repairable suggests a deeper cross-system compatibility issue between the Servo life state and standard NPC service systems.
