When selecting "capture information" for uni presentations, the sim will approach the presentation board but is unable to complete the function.

Ideas
My sim can only capture information for the Presentation, then can't move to the next stage because the option available is always capture information no matter how may times he does it.
I tried to reset the board and also took it to inventory and placed it again, but nothing worked.
This started with Royalty and Legacy, but not sure which update because I didn't have anyone in college until recently. It worked fine before Royalty.
Note: This sim is a teen.
