[EBN] Endless Loading: Everdew (Build/Live)

Bug report. In an existing save (no mods/cc), I cannot load into all of the lots in the forest of Everdew, I get a never-ending loading screen. I have tried loading in with a sim or just via build mode and get the eternal loading screen. However, I can load into all lots in Sprucederry Grove and the Coast of Adhmor without any issues.

In a new save, I can load into all of the lots in Everdew. Any suggestions for getting the existing saves to work? I've tried verifying the files - no issues were found. I haven't tried uninstalling/reinstalling the game yet.

P.S. This is my first bug report and I clicked on the bug report button but in the breadcrumbs it looks like I'm suggesting an idea -

Do you have any LastException files in Documents\Electronic Arts\The Sims 4 ?

    - Delete the ones you have
    - Trigger the error again
    - Check if new ones are created
    - If that is the case, please copy/paste the content here. You can open the file with any text editor.

Deleting the file won't fix your issue. Posting the info is meant for troubleshooting.

  • I think one of the Mods preventing players from loading into the new world is the TOOL mod by twistedmexi. After removing that mod, I was able to load the world from Manage Worlds. I assume that because turning off mods allowed me to explore the world that I should be able to visit the neighborhoods too.

That is a different issue. With TOOL you get a while screen. This is endless loading. Please check out the mods forum for more info on the white screen.

No matter what I do, be it through trying to go via sims in live mode or trying to enter from build/buy onto the lots, Everdew will not load. Instead, I am stuck on a loading screen for hours that never ends. I have tried removing the localthumbcache, removing my mods completely, and even repairing the entire game, but no matter what this still happens. The rest of Innisgreen neighborhoods are totally accessible without any issue, it only seems to be Everdew.

For some reason, the one save file I have becomes stuck on the loading screen every time I try to play or enter any lot in the Everdew neighborhood in Innisgreen. I have tried all the normal solutions (removing mods, repairing the game) and have even tried a complete file Rollback, and reinstalling the EA App, and still nothing works. This problem only occurs in this specific game file, but this is my main file that I've spent months (maybe even a year) working on, so I don't want the only solution to be to delete the save because one neighborhood in one world isn't loading up.

Can either of you access the lots in build mode ?
