I posted separately regarding the inability to achieve "top of career" milestone, possibly because my YA had achieved that rank before I purchased Growing Together. (?) Also having issues with several other milestones on other age sims. Things are definitely not in order, and the toddler stuff...ugh.
Now, I've switched her from Secret Agent to Science track. She jumped from her initial hire (don't recall what it was) to Mad Scientist in one leap, but now....oh, now, I'm frustrated. Her job performance resets to average daily. If I follow her to work, I max out the task meter and see no movement on the performance bar until she leaves to go home, then there is a quick jump to the next better segment. I tried sending her solo and saw a marginal increase, and figured I'd fixed the issue by repairing my game (nope, didn't work) so I went with her on the next day, saving first just in case. As soon as she arrived, I checked and her performance had been reset. I exited without saving and upon loading in her performance was still reset.
I haven't tried sending her solo for multiple days in a row...that's my next trial.

Hi, are you still looking for info on this topic? I just experienced the same issue in the bodybuilder career. I've been given a raise so many times my Sim makes $1365/hour and the base pay for this position is $85/hour. Granted, i believe i went into it with a couple raises, but still. It has been a long time with many days of growth on the performance bar, but it just resets to average every day.
