Since the latest update my sims are affected by a face distortion, similar to the one previously seen with the tanning bug. Unlike the tanning bug, which could be avoided, this is persistent.
The best way I can describe it is the faces are generally rounder than usual, cheeks are bigger and the eyes are different. The mouths are also affected, but to a lesser degree. This distortion affects all age groups but looks a lot more obvious on YA than children.
I do use mods and CC so I fired up a new game with mods folder removed. Deleted cache file, ran a repair game. The distortion almost looks more obvious on vanilla sims.
I am on a Mac, but also use my Windows PC now and then to play. Tested on Windows machine, again with mods folder removed in entirety, and issue is the same as on the Mac.
My game is updated and as I mentioned this appeared right after updating.
I have all packs and most kits. My Mac is running Tahoe 26.5.2 and my PC is on Windows 11.
