Failed to launch error/Fully Black Screen when using CC

Hi, so, my game is failing to launching. I did adress the problem, it's my mods. But when put them into my deskop, the game resets and my households and everything dissapears.. One more weird thing, it sometimes opens and sometimes doesn't. I did manage to open it up for 3 times today. Without moving my mods into my deskop. I also repaired my game for 5 times but it didn't work. I think it's because of my CC and mods but it was fine until 2 days ago! The latest uptade worked for me and now The Sims 4 is acting weird again. I don't know what to do.

since yesterday when i updated by sims 4 game, I've been having issues with the game either refusing to open, saying it was a technical error on EA's side, or opening, playing the intro and loading screen before moving to what i presume is meant to be the homepage of the sims, except it's completely black with only my cursor showing. all of my current mods/corrupt cc have been either removed or updated to their latest, functioning version, and i have no overrides for the homepage downloaded anywhere in my mods folder. I've cleared out thumbcache, repaired the game, and on multiple occasions reloaded the EA app. what could be the issue causing this?

same issue, since this morning. I tried the fix, step by step, deleting the cache etc. It will only work if I turn Script Mods off.  My mods and CC is updated and everything was just working fine yesterday, even after the update. So why isnt it working today ? I'm so annoyed.

I'm trying to launch the game; the "Preparing game" window appears, but nothing happens.

What I've already tried:

• Cleared the cache.
• Updated/cleared my mods.
• Renamed the folder to "The Sims 41."
• Reinstalled the EA app.

Despite all this, the game still won't launch. I'm stumped and don't know what to do. Please help. Also, after reinstalling the EA app, I got a new error message:

"Failed to launch the game. The game couldn't launch due to an error on our end. Please try again later."

As of today I am having the issue with the failure to launch game only with CC in the game . I will try the first option renaming my mods folder but is a solution being worked on this is so annoying. 

I just opened my sims today and am still running into this issue. Is anyone else having this issue?

Oh, is this due to the recent patch? I did not yet update, and seriously depending on CC I now hesitate patching at all. Do you know if this is a general problem, or only affecting a few smmers? I did not see it mentioned earlier.

AineOfMay same. I magically was able to get it to start last night by deleting the cache in the EA app, and now that doesn't even work anymore! I've deleted my sims 4 folder and let the game generate a new one, I've repaired my game, deleted the resource.cfg file and cleared my cache and none of that works. I think at this point, I have no choice but to wait on their hotfix.
