As the title says, my sim seems to be unable to adopt a cat. I go through all the usual popups for the adoption but the cat disappears when the time runs out. No adoption has taken place. 🤷🏻♀️
Either I am not doing something right or there's an issue with the optional task which has not been marked off. 😒
I have tried adopting via both phone and computer, hasn't bad a difference. 🙆🏻♀️😭
Edit: to clarify this is tied to the Event.
I am having the same issue when attempting to adopt a cat. I tried in a new save and had the same cat disappearing/adoption event ending before I can adopt the cat happen. I have no mods/cc enabled.
elenalilamartin I had to end up cheating the adoption to get that task marked off.
