I am trying to complete the final task for the Forever Friends time limited event and my game has got stuck on the 'play with toybox without a stuffed animal nearby task'.
I have moved the toybox around several times and bought multiple different toyboxes attempting to complete this. I still have Pixel on the very far opposite side of the lot as far away as possible. I have also tried without Pixel on the lot but it does say he needs to be on the lot for the task.
I have closed and reloaded my game.
I am out of ideas on how to complete this and I will be incredibly disappointed if I miss out on a new trait because of this bug. I have completed the optional tasks just trying to get enough points but it wasn't enough and now I am missing out on two event exclusives (the PJs and the trait) despite having done everything I possibly can to complete the event.
Please advise.
NOTE: I do not use mods or CC at all.
Try to drag the toy near or on the kid. For me, the task `watch tv near the toy` did not work, but when I dragged it on the sim, it worked.
