I’ve done 4 landlord events and 3 of them have said I’ve failed to do anything and my unit rating has lowered even though I’ve done them. I’ve had one say I did it. My unit was 5 stars and now is back down to 4.

It’s so disheartening to see this pack be unplayable for so long. I feel like the gameplay would be really unique and cool if it actually worked. The fact that I can only successfully complete maintenance events by hiring the expensive contractor sucks, because I’m also experiencing the bug where I don’t receive any rent payments from my tenants. So I literally have no income and can’t afford to be a landlord without using money cheats or creating other sims that work careers to sponsor the landlord sim. Really disappointing and defeats the purpose of the whole gameplay.
The only thing that seems to work to successfully resolve an issue is to call a contractor (I’ve only tried the expensive contractor option so far).
Annoying though because I want my property owner to do the maintenance!
Very disappointing that it’s been 10 months and they still haven’t fixed this bug - especially since it’s such a main feature of the pack.
I just bought this pack and am already having this issue, this is my first tenant, any challenge says the same thing when I finish them and my sims get bad moodlets
Yep, same is happening for me too. Frankly I’m tired of putting in the hard work and it saying that the occupants fixed it and I did nothing. They just sit there, or they’re not even home! Screw them and their lies! Jerks.
Experience this all the time, it made me stop making rentals, even though I loved the feature when it first came out.
The bug seemed to manifest around the time that the Life and Death came out.
Unfortunately it's a bug with no fix....given it's not even on the laundry list I'm not confident it will be fixed any time soon....really frustrating for those of us that have only just purchased the game...
Exact same issue. I just bought the pack today for the property management gameplay to give me something to do on a rainy weekend. Not able to get a refund through normal avenues and EA is impossible to contact directly. I'm pretty annoyed that I've just given over money for a game that doesn't work as advertised and having no ETA on a fix. I expect this to happen on initial release which is why I tend to wait but given the age of this pack I thought anything major would have been resolved...
Im not sure if this is a new bug or an old one. I have a tenant and I have been getting notified of events but every time I go and finish them and actually fix the problem the game takes it as me ignoring the problem instead of fixing it.
This happens every single time I have a rental event happen. EVERY. SINGLE. TIME. This seems to be a common thing happening and has pretty much been happening since FR came out, from my understanding. Hopefully they'll come out with a fix soon. As it is, it's almost not worth playing with FR activated.
Sorry I can't give you any good news about it.
