This pack is broken. As a landlord, you cannot ever repair issues. It always fails, no matter what you try to do.
Whether I try to resolve it by calling someone for help or doing it myself, it always fails. This makes this pack that I've paid for unplayable!

I'm having the same problem still. Events register as failures when I fix the problem. I also tried turning off the events but that did nothing.

When I saw the update, I eagerly went to see which bugs had been fixed, and I was sorely disappointed that there were no For Rent bugs addressed in the update. 😠

It is absolutely unacceptable that more than a year has passed since the release of the For Rent expansion pack — one of the most expensive DLCs for The Sims 4 — and the critical bugs that affect core gameplay are still unresolved.
Despite multiple reports from the community, key mechanics such as tenant protests, unregistered maintenance events (stuck at 0/1), incorrect rent prices, and game-breaking save issues persist. Many of us have followed the intended gameplay steps — making improvements, fulfilling promises, resolving issues — only to be punished by rating drops and bugged systems.
We deserve clear communication and real fixes. Selling premium content with such fundamental flaws, and leaving them unaddressed for over 18 months, shows an alarming lack of respect for your players.
Please treat this with the seriousness it deserves and provide a proper update or roadmap for when these issues will be fixed.

my game updated today 8/19/25 and i'm still having the same issue as everyone else. i'm also experiencing the bug where i don't get paid by my tenants. i play on PC, and i have no mods installed.

Whenever I respond to a maintenance or emergency event by traveling to the property and handling it myself, it either says that the tenants handled the issue themselves or that it wasn't resolved. Hiring contractors remains successful, but I cannot progress my sim's landlord aspiration.
