Is this with or without mods/cc ? What platform are you playing on ?
Could you please add threads tags for that info

I'm having this same issue. It counted down for my first tenant who died of old age, but has not been counting down for any tenant after that. I have no cc mods. I'm playing on a PC.

I am having the same issue. No mods or CC. The lease says 7 days and does not count down. Also not receiving any rent payments as LL.

I recently purchased the “For Rent” expansion pack, but my rental leases are stuck at 7 days and never count down. Even after saving and reloading the game, the lease remains at 7 days. Upon removing ALL MOD, the game started count down, but after saving and reloading the game, the lease would reset back to 7 days. I also never receive rent payments. I have removed all mods and tried evicting/re-renting the units, but the issue persists. I've also tried starting a brand NEW game without any MODs and the problem persist.
Game version: 1.113.297.1020
Please fix this bug as soon as possible or I would like a refund on this. - AltoFrame154 months agoNew Spectator
I DO NOT USE MODS. Remaining lease on all my rental properties won't decrease. When a new tenant is put in, it will go down 1 day then will go back up to the original lease period after 1 sim day. E.g Will have a 7 day lease, will say 6 days remaining then will go back go 7 days remaining then will not decrease after that. I am unable to 'justify' evict or increase rent.
I have tried clearing cache, changing career of sims, starting In a new world with new sim, putting lease length up and down, Restarting the game and logging in and out of the EA app. nothing has helped. I also didn't use any cheats and still nothing.
I've tried googling for solutions and don't seem to be the only one with the problem. I spent days building and saving to make the property high value yet I cant even play the pack properly

I'm playing with the Sims 4 "For Rent" game installed. Every time the lease agreement reach 2 days left of the rental agreement lease it starts back to 7 days and I'm not able to increase to max rent. I have no mods installed.
Fix it please.
Thanks

I've the same issue. Everytime I load the game, the lease resets to 7 days and it'll never rundown to 0 as long as I quit/load the game before 7 Sim Days have passed.
