I have the cursed book event, but there is absolutly NO CURSED BOOK on my lot.
And it's not the first time, every events that came with for rent are impossible to finish. all I can do is wait and not be able to enter the B&B mode.
Cursed book that is not here, oven that perfectly work, plants that are perfectly healthy, and yet the events are here, and we cannot do anything.
EA took our money but don't even care about fixing the bugs that are in their game.
and just in case, yes the event is here (I took the screenshot ingame)
I have this problem on console/PS5 as well. I had to go to debug to add the cursed book to my lot then had my Sim destroy it. To get into build mode though, I had to enter it from Manage Worlds otherwise I couldn't do it. Then I removed the trait after everything was working again.
Still a problem in game :(, just happened to me. I'll just have to use the phone next time, that seemed to work last time.
this seems to be sporadic for me. initially the book showed up on my lot - twice. the blight, explosions too. all working fine. i've been playing with this sim for at least 3 seasons and i have my seasons set to long to give an idea of time. i am starting to see issues with the cursed book now. I've had the event twice, the book isn't on the lot. this particular lot as all of the challenges active, so maybe that with the length of time I've been playing with this sim plus the active event going on?
