This was an issue in previous versions that was resolved but has returned after the 1.121.340 patch
When paused with the pause menu open if you leave the game idle for a few minutes and return the game will not resume. You can scroll the pause menu up and down but the buttons cannot be activated, gameplay can’t resume without a hard reboot.
