When selecting my own households from My Library or The Gallery, there are notifications claiming I do not own packs or that content is not installed.
However, the content is both owned and installed and I can see it in my game.
When I place the households in CAS, the items are on the Sims. Thankfully, the items are not being removed and it's just a problem with the UI messaging. However, it does create a sense of confusion and panic when you are told you don't own the packs you used to create you Sims.
My game is up to date and the issue seemed to happen with the recent Marketplace patch.
My mod folders are currently disabled and have not been enabled since the last few patches.
I do not need to start a new save file as this is a gallery issue, which is access via the main menu. Save files are not required.
I have tried Repairing Game.
I have also verified the content is installed in the EA App, in the 'My Collection' tab of the Marketplace, and visibly as items in CAS.
My packs are all acquired officially and most are via the Creator Network.
Example 1: This household says 'You own everything used in this gallery item' but I get a 'Content not installed' message when placing the Sim. All content is actually installed and visible in game and I don't notice any removed items from the Sim.
Example 2: This household says 2 packs are 'unowned', yet they are installed and visible in CAS. The Sims are wearing the clothes when placed.

Example 1 is exactly what’s happening with me. No items are missing off my sim.
I’ve been placing lots from the gallery and my library now too, and this pops up on every single one. In only one instance did it tell me a build item had been removed. - RasiaSilver1 month agoRising Hotshot
I'm having this problem too except it's when I place my houses and community lots.

Same here and it's frustrating. Ugh!!! I love my Sims but I am seriously thinking of rage quitting. First time I am able to play my game after their stupid update and now it's another problem. It is neverending

I’m having this issue as well my younger saw the free country kitchen pack and clicked and now if i want to place a lot that contains those items it says it’s not installed but it shows i own the pack.

This is happening to me too with lots I built, out of my own Gallery. I've repaired, disabled mods, started a fresh game, anything and everything I can think of. I own all Packs, kits, etc. It's even saying it to Base Game houses either I made, or Maxis ones from My Gallery (like the "original" Pancake House, Goth etc. before they got the refresh).

I just had the "not installed - one item was removed" pop up after loading into a Townie home in HoB. I did not change anything, I did not play nor even visited the lot before. This was a new savegame. So what do you mean something got removed because it wasn't installed? The pack is installed.
And on the Gallery a bunch of Sims are marked with the green flag saying "using content you don't own" - even with household that are only basegame + one pack that I DO own. - Prime-Eternal1 month agoRising Spectator
Having the same exact issue. Is there a reason a mod hasn't responded to this and is not being investigated?

Having the same exact issue.. I own all the packs yet it says I don’t?

Me too, it says I only own The Cats and Dogs Expansion, although I own all expansion packs, all game packs, and all stuff packs, and some kits.

So I was able to fix my game and perhaps this may help someone else since no mod has replied
i uninstalled both ea and sims. Deleted all the EA & sims 4 related folders, reinstalled everything & it finally worked. (If you have CC etc, you may want to download and save the files so you can easily put them back into the newly downloaded folders)

Also make sure to save your saves in a folder so you don’t lose your characters etc

hi there! first time commenting on one of these forums for forgive any mistakes! i encountered this issue last night and the same thing occurred today so i’ve been digging for answers. noticed no one got a concrete answer here so wanted to share my fix. you’ll need to navigate to the marketplace in-game, go to “my collections”, all your packs will show (likely as deactivated as mine showed), reactivate the packs and it should resolve the issue. including the link from where i found this answer to give credit (User DemonAdorRebel)

Unfortunately, this didn't work for me. I checked my collections in the marketplace and they're all checked already. I couldn't post there because the thread is closed, so figured I would post here.
