[GALLERY] 'Content not installed' warning with all content owned

This should have been addressed after the last update but, it is not fixed!

UGH! When is EA going to do something about this? We have voted. This bug is building as more and more people on more than one post are having these issues. This is a joke! We do all we can to comply and yet we get no results. I have aborted the Sims 4 as it is basically unplayable. I miss playing this game and yet EA just doesn't seem to care at all. 

The problem where it doesn't show anything sometimes can be helped by restarting. It's the gallery just not working at the moment (it's annoying, but it always worked to just restart the game (for me at least)). And the one where you cannot save, I have found it helps to let the game run for a minute or so. If you start the game and jump right into building it, it often will not save to the gallery, whatever you do. But it usually does work after letting the game load fully, I guess. And if nothing else works, I have found it helps to turn the graphic settings down or use laptop mode just for saving (especially huge lots) to your gallery or the gallery in general. You can play in them normally after putting the settings back.

There was a short time I did not get this message.

Now I am getting it again, even with Maxis Lots off the gallery.   I own all Expansion, Game and Stuff packs, kits,  and majority of maker kits.....  but I mostly only download Base Game or ones with Expansion Packs I own, No CC etc.

Also the Gallery sometimes if I click a creator will not load their content.  I know others experienced this before, I never did. But now I am. or if I search for a hashtag, item name or Lot at example 30x20 it will say no content available..... No 30x20 lots saved on the Gallery?  Riiiiiiight ok......

And now I also cannot save lots to my gallery.  Like if I start a brand new save, and want to save the Pancake's House to my gallery not post it online,  It does not save.  Or when I have edited a lot, and want to save it without publishing it never saves.... Sometimes I want the base game houses in different cities... if I can't save the lot, it's getting annoying.  Since you can't find majority of these in the Gallery.

I have 1 PC running with very few mods, 1 PC running with no mods.  Deleted all of my old saved lots, cache, thumbnails, reinstalled the game.  It's not saving on a OneDrive or other cloud service just on the proper C Drive. 

Happens with both so I can't blame mods.  This is frustrating.  Even on the start page with the Mansion showing to download, I can't load the Gallery most days the 3 times it has opened, 2x it wouldn't save to my gallery, 3rd time it did.  When I tried to place it, it wouldn't load on the lot.  So then I went to a new save, tried to install it unfurnished, and it was no longer in my Gallery.....

Seriously..... I have Every CD-ROM for Sims 1 to 3, Medieval, and everything Sims 4 has ever issued, plus paid for Sims 1 2 and 3 from EA online, WTF is going on......

Or can someone who does the amazing game mods make some mod that makes this work again? Since EA certainly doesn't seem to care after 2 months of this....

I've had this problem for a while too, my game is currently up to date as of June 6th, 2026. I play on PC without mods or CC

I'm also on xbox and this is happening to me. I was hoping the most recent patch would have some fix but no. For me I'm not 100% sure but I think it's related to bundles, because all the packs that I've gotten in bundles and all the packs with pre-order content show up as not owned. Hope it's fixed soon but for now I can't use the gallery I guess.

I am currently dealing with this, and it started a week ago. If I place the lot, it will place the house, but not any indoor or outdoor objects. I really do not want to end up having to delete those lots and rebuild them.

There is already a bug report about this! It's been there for a while unfortunately. That report doesn't mention crashes though

After either the lastest update or the one right before it, when making a new household and saving it to my gallery then placing it again, it says content not installed. I do have mods and cc but i haven't removed any of them and i have all my dlc's installed. Another thing is that when i try to move my Sims into one of those "content not installed" houses my game crashes. I've done a lot of testing so i know for sure that the house is the problem for the crashing. But i would really like this to be fixed so i can play my game. I've even moved all my mods and cc out of my mods folder and it still shows, please help.
