My game is up to date as of April 30th, 2026. I play on PC without any mods or CC.
My issues with the gallery started a month or two before the "by design" explanation was dropped, when I saw lots in the gallery with packs I do not own even with the "Show Owned" option. The pack selection was explained by being inclusive instead of exclusive, so lots and households appearing in the results with selected packs showed results with packs that are not owned too. Fine, even if I don't agree with how it's "supposed" to work, I adapted begrudgingly. Now, they added the option to "Using Only These", which I was happy about because FINALLY I'd be able to browse items on the gallery that required only the packs I own... only to be met with the "No Results Found" EVERY SINGLE TIME, which is impossible because I own almost all the EPs, all the GPs except Parenthood, half of the Stuff Packs and a few Kits.
This is more than annoying, it has become exhausting and quite frankly, enraging. The problems with the Gallery Filters have been going on for months now. The "old" Gallery was working perfectly fine, it was simple to use and the results showed us what we wanted with ONLY the packs that we have, now we have to go around the merry-go-round and it doesn't even work... How hard would it be to change the selected packs as being exclusive rather than inclusive, instead of just adding more options that don't even work?
