[XB/PS] Can't interact with Gallery without force closing game

This is exactly what keeps happening to my game on the Xbox series X I was able to play before the update to the marketplace and now I load in all my DLCs pop up like I just got them and when I go to my gallery to add tattoos on my Sims or even just add houses I like on the gallery I get stuck. I'd rather deal with Bethesda bugs that you can get around.

Waiting 1 minute doesn't work and not all of us have a mouse and keyboard. Now we have to wait until May for a potential laundry list. Already had to wait over a month for this marketplace update to even download recent gallery posts. Unbelievable we should at least get some free moola for compensation.

Same thing is happening to me on ps5, it freezes and doesn’t allow you get off the screen.

I am also having trouble with my sims 4 on PS5. Everytime, I go on my gallery it freezes up on me and I did everything by deleting saves and rebuild database, clear cache everything. It’s really frustrating when you can’t play your game because every update messes up something for the console people.

First comment (ever) on the EA Forum: Since updating 4/16, game is not successfully saving. Last save was at 3:17 a.m. (4/17). I took out my mods folder, restarted the game...nothing changed. Put back in my mods folder without script mods (only CC content)...nothing changed. Usually, my game is unaffected after updates so I have never been inclined to comment on the forum; however, I did some fly decorating in my hospital in Newcrest (I'm a builder) and was on a roll. It never even occurred to me that all the time I was hitting save that nothing was happening. Ugggh! So frustrated. All that work loss.

I've been having this issue too, and it's really sad because I want to download stuff from the gallery, and it's not letting me.

And I was in the process of making a baddie several time and unfortunately I’m a sucker for tattoos so I was planning on giving them some but everytime I tried to use the ones I saved from the gallery the loading would get stuck. Thanks to the pinned comment I remembered I had a keyboard I could plug into my console and a mouse, that’s literally the only way to stop that from happening without having to close it out and unfortunately this obviously only works if you have a keyboard and mouse you can plug into otherwise we gon have to wait for an update to patch it which sucks For us console players.

So I’ve recently ran into an issue with the gallery after the new update. When I click on something that contains any DLC it will just load on the bottom bit of the post where it tells u what packs were used for which household, lots, sims etc.

Even though it gets stuck loading I can still hover over the options with my joysticks funnily enough, but my DPAD and arrow keys don’t respond and I’m met with a never ending loading screen not even for the actual game but the gallery??? It doesn’t do this for items not containing any DLC, I’ve tried. Each time I’ve just had to reboot the game and choose not to use the gallery.

On PS5, do I really have to redownload all of my DLC’s again or is the gallery just broken right now? Help would be greatly appreciated 🫠
