During the past 2-3 weeks, when I am in build mode and I select a dresser (including bunk beds that include a dresser), the game crashes completely. This occasionally happens with bookshelves as well.
I usually add dressers last when decorating, and I do not save as regularly as I should. This has led to disasters including completely renovating my Sim's house and it being lost entirely :((
