Please follow these steps to test your game on vanilla game with no mods/cc
- Create a backup of your save game
- Move your mods folder to the desktop
- Delete the following files from your user folder.
- localthumbcache
- Any lastException Files
- Any LastCrash files.
- Check if the same happens.
Did as you asked. I was only able to reproduce the issue with the movie theater (I think triggering a chance card at another family's house will be more difficult). My Sim was collecting items in the inter-lot space when a chance card popped up for another NPC from the movie theater.
