I'm no longer able too plan stay overs since the recent update. It rarely let's me create the event, and when it does the sims I have invited never come to my lot. I get the pop up for the stay over event but nothing happens after that. I play a vanilla game on PC. (no mods, no CC). I have tried repairing and restated the game but it doesn't fix the issue. Hoping this will be resolved soon.

When I go to create the event it won't let me select a start time so I can't select the checkmark in the corner to proceed. On the rare occasion I have been able to select a start time, the pop up shows up that guests are coming over but no one comes over even after hours have passed.
Could you post a picture how that looks for you ? Does the dropdown not work ?
The drop down does not work. When I click on it, the bar with the time options in it just stays exactly the same. I can't choose a time because I am not given the option to choose one. Im unable to submit a picture as I don't have access to my game right now.
So this doesn't work for you ?
Does the nights part work ? Do the drop down menus work for other events ?
Did you test multiple families/save games ?

I just discovered I'm having an issue with creating Stay Overs, too. I can create the event in the calendar and set the time, but the event never happens, the Sim I invited never shows up, although the calendar says the event is in progress and the "plan stay over" command is grayed out on the Sim I invited if I encounter that Sim elsewhere, with a tool tip that says the event is going on so I can't invite her again. I don't use mods or CC.
