[GT] Sims Do Not Dance While DJ Is Playing – NPCs Only Watch DJ Booth

Platform: Mac

Description:
When my active Sim is using the DJ booth, other Sims on the lot (NPCs) gather around and watch the DJ instead of dancing. Even though music is playing and there is a dance floor available, they remain idle or just stand and react to the DJ.

This behavior feels unrealistic for a club/party environment, where Sims would normally be expected to dance.

do you have the issue only if your active Sim is DJing or also if there's an NPC DJ ?

Does it happen on any lot that has a DJ booth ?

Upvoting this because 100% agree. The DJ-Sim behavior is bizarre. Sims stand all over each other to watch, cheer or try to get behind the booth to crowd the DJ. I like to go dancing all the time and I know some DJs in real life and the best way to show appreciation is to fill the dance floor and dance like maniacs. I usually end up deleting the DJ booth and putting in a speaker so Sims act normally in night clubs because it's already a struggle to get Sims to dance together.

At the very least, tuning down the excess enthusiasm would be stellar.
