Gym rat trait no longer works

I have two teens who have the gym rat trait which is a purchased trait that is supposed to reduce the rate at which hygiene decays.  After this most recent update, it no longer works, at least for teens, and hygiene decays normally.  There is no way to remove the trait and add again without using cheats.

I noticed the issue when they started playing soccer randomly (like they always do). On a related note, please look into reducing that interaction the same way you reduced Sims randomly dropping to the floor for pushups. It's very annoying.

I am on a Mac laptop M1 chip, late 2020, Ventura 13.7.8 and my Sims 4 game version is 1.124.63.1220. No mods ever.
