This is also affecting the Detective career. Interestingly, the sim I join at work is wearing her hat but none of her fellow officers at the precinct are wearing their hats. One of her co-workers that is now in detective clothing is wearing the hat. Based on simvasion's commentary for hats not being properly removed from a previous situation outfit, at least I now understand why that one co-worker has a hat that shouldn't be there.
