this has been a thing for me for a while. I noticed that i can pick up a serving, put it down and THEN someone can eat it. my sim can also eat it after packing it into a sacked lunch - it'll let anyone do those two things, but alone the meal will just sit there. it happened to be greyed out for this sim bc the skill level isnt high enough. like the original posting, never cc or mods and i'm playing on a pc
