Issue Description:
When selling food from the Home Chef Hustle food stand at 0% markup, the player receives less money than the food's actual value, effectively selling at a loss. The markup system does not appear to be calculating from the correct base price of the food. This issue is worse for dishes prepared after cooking with other Sims (group cooking), which sell for even less. Food quality does not affect the incorrect pricing. Specific dishes affected include Foraged Feast and Brigadeiro, though other dishes may also be impacted. I have not tested all the dishes from the packs.
Expected Behavior:
At 0% markup, food should sell for its full base value as determined by ingredient cost, quality, and skill level. The player should receive the exact amount the food is worth. Cooking with other Sims should not reduce the sale price.
Steps to Reproduce:
- Prepare Foraged Feast or Brigadeiro using a refrigerator.
- Optionally, prepare the same dish using group cooking (cook with other Sims).
- Place the food on the Anywhere Any Fare Food Stand from Home Chef Hustle.
- Set markup to 0%.
- Start a food sale and sell the items.
- Compare the Simoleons received to the food's cost on the refrigerator.
Actual Result:
- Food sells for less than its actual value at 0% markup.
- Dishes made via group cooking sell for even less than those made solo.
- Food quality (Normal, Good, Excellent) does not correct the pricing.
- Specific confirmed affected recipes: Foraged Feast, Brigadeiro.
Additional Notes:
- The current issue appears to be a separate pricing/valuation bug affecting how the food stand calculates item worth at baseline markup.
Impact:
Makes Sims not earn as much as they should from selling food. Group cooking—a feature intended to be fun and social—actively penalizes the player financially. Players cannot reliably run a food business with these recipes.
