Issue Description:
When a Sim performs any sales-related interaction while using the food stand from Home Chef Hustle — including Sales Pitch, Convince to Buy, or autonomous sales interactions — the played Sim do not face forward. Instead, they may face in unrelated directions while the interaction plays out.
Expected Behavior:
Sims engaged in a social interaction should face forward (or face the customer if the vendor is behind the stand) to maintain visual coherence and immersion. The vendor should face toward the customer.
Steps to Reproduce:
- Place and stock a food stand from Home Chef Hustle.
- Open the stand for business.
- Wait for an NPC customer to approach.
- Select a sales interaction from the pie menu, such as:
- Sales Pitch
- Convince to Buy
- Any autonomous sales interaction
- Observe the positioning and facing direction of the Sim during the interaction.
Actual Result:
The Sim does not face forward. Common observed behaviors include:
- Vendor facing backwards (away from the customer) while talking,
Additional Notes:
- This appears to be an animation routing or slot alignment issue specific to the food stand.
- Does not occur with normal social interactions performed away from the food stand (those face correctly).
- Occurs with both player-initiated and NPC-autonomous sales interactions.
- Does not seem to affect the success or failure of the interaction — only the visual presentation.
Impact:
Breaks immersion and makes food sales feel unpolished. The animation glitch is visually distracting and detracts from the otherwise charming small-business gameplay. Particularly noticeable for players who enjoy storytelling or recording gameplay.
