[HHLE] Bike missing from Transportation Buy section

The first event "Happy-at-Home" a while back had all its loot added to the base game (https://x.com/TheSimsDirect/status/1839817482489434378?s=20). That's nice but I have to ask a question. Why does the base game have a bike but no Transportation section in the catalogue for it? When I swap to a platform that has "Discover University" or "Growing Together" I have a section to buy bikes. When I play on a platform that does not have those packs my game sticks the bike into the outdoor activity section. Why do the Sims 4 updates not address this?

I believe this is because of the Reaper's Rewards event, as one of the items that could be obtained from it was the Grim's Cruiser Bicycle (Week 3). Now I am not sure how all the reward stuff is handled, however I think that the items are in-game but hidden until it is unlocked. That could be why the transportation section appears even when only the base game is installed, and the the bike not unlocked, since technically the bike is there but isn't.
