High level musician can't write or license songs (Option missing)

I am still having issues with this. I am level 10 on piano and level 4 on guitar. It doesn't recognize if I write a song on either. This is so frustrating!

For guitar you def need to level up some more. Think it's 8.

Which platform do you play on ?

• What level guitar is your Sim at ?

I'm playing through a music career and the option to write songs just isn't there? I've tried different instruments. Still nothing. I can't progress through my sims aspirations with this bug.

Just to get this out of the way: this is FRESH install of the game. I mean fresh as in deinstall, delete folders, reinstall, move my saved tray files back in and then started new game. NO MODS.

I really hope this helps. it's been an issue from way before this latest version of the game.
