I have a problem with the latest September 2025 update on PC: The hiking sandals from the call of the wild event and the new headband are still spawning on the new townies in my game. It's a bit weird and I think it's a game bug.
Hiking sandals spawn on all swimwear townies, and the headband spawns very often unlike other hats.
Do other people have the same problem? Is there a solution?
I only use the MCC mod but it still happens without this mod.
i think its just teens and older but everytime i go to cas after my sims age to a teen, my sims are wearing those sandals from the event before enchanted by nature, same with if i create a teen or older in cas
i am on pc
i do use cc but not anything like script mods or gameplay mods, just like hairs and stuff
ive not noticed the headband but ill keep an eye out for that, for the sandals, ive only noticed it in cas when going to create an outfit in the swimwear category, i rarely notice other sims swimwear so ill keep an eye out to see if random townies have them on and get back to you!!

The generated townies are being a bad influence on Trashley. Since they are a Very Real Person and not an unspecified number of raccoons in a trench coat, they seem to be adopting the local "fashion".

I am still noticing this when randomizing outfits, also when playing with genetics in CAS to create new Sims.
I am guessing this is spawning on all of the townies because they are in a category that does not contain other (or not many other) items. We need a way to tell the system to not include a particular item on randomly generated townies. I have removed the dirty sandals from dozens of Sims' swim outfits.😕
