Issue
The save game starts to disintegrate itself. Lots start to get deleted, causing endless loading, loading into empty lots.
This issue has been around since the very beginning so it’s not tie...

I have for the first time ever stumbled upon this issue it seems. Yesterday i spent quite some time building a flower shop. So just now i was loading the game to continue this. The map was completely normal and i could see the building, no orange or green exclamation marks or anything. Lot loaded fast and nicely - but when the lot loaded - it was reverted back to the building that was there previously (i built on the smaller lot in Magnolia Promenade, so it had reverted back to a retail store).
I exited without saving, removed the mods folder and repaired the game - but it's still the same. Not sure why this is happening now - i've never had any issues or bugs like this, which makes me afraid to open any other save. Luckily this save is a new one that i started just to build, but still - it kinda sucks. I didn't upload the build to my gallery, but i see now that perhaps i should start doing so just to be safe.
This issue - whatever it is - should be looked into ASAP. Seems pretty game breaking to me. Pretty bummed about it since i was looking forward for the new EP and to play it with my legacy save, but i'm gonna hold off on that until whatever this is, gets fixed. There is no way im letting this bug corrupt my legacy save that i've had for a couple of years!🙄
Out of Curiosity, do you have For Rent? I've never bought For Rent and haven't encountered this issue yet. I'm a bit wary of purchasing the new Business and Hobbies expansion right now since it uses the same/similar system as For Rent for designing the small businesses. Did it begin occurring after you bought Business and Hobbies or For Rent?
I have ALL Expansion Packs (and Game Packs, Stuff Packs and all but two Kits). From what I have heard, it’s ”For Rent” that is causing this bug. The more rentals you have, the higher the risk. Also the more content you have, the higher the risk of corruption. I play on Xbox, so no mods, but I download houses from the gallery.
I have played well over 1700 hours, and now all my save games are infected. I thought it was a bug like many, and that they would fix it. So I simply continued playing with other households when the first house disappeared. Now all buildings in Willow Creek are gone. I have tried to save all buildings and sims in my library to be able to place them in a new save. But I am afraid to do all that work, and risk getting the bug again.
