Houses/Lots Disappear

Issue

The save game starts to disintegrate itself. Lots start to get deleted, causing endless loading, loading into empty lots.

This issue has been around since the very beginning so it’s not tied to any packs. This issue possibly has a lot of different causes and hence is hard to pinpoint. There more info you have, the better.

Information to provide

  • Your platform
  • Mod usage (Never,  Removed, Yes) This is important info, not mod blaming.
  • Before and after save games. Please DM the link to  EA_Cade

Symptoms

  • When you load into the house, the house disappears and when you try to leave ,you get endless loading
  • You get endless loading in all houses in one neighborhood
  • When the houses start to disappear, the whole world is covered in orange/green exclamation marks
  • Some lots are replaced by llama pictures of the map (possibly also incomplete installation - repair your game first)

    I just started experiencing this problem in my game. I don't have any mods currently. I created a whole new save file, but whenever I try to place this one lot it disappears after going to manage worlds or CAS

    I bulldozed a lot and rebuilt it, i saved it and everything. once i exit build mode i see the new lot in manage worlds but when i click on it to finish building, it reverts back to the default lot. i have mods installed and i tried to see if it was the mods but it wasnt. Help!!!! SOMEONE PLEASEEE

    Hello, 

    My lots are no longer loading when playing on my Macbook. When I have a sim visit a lot, there is nothing there. In my worlds, my lots are not loading, even lots that are default game lots are not loading anymore and if I try to visit, there is an empty lot. Its happening on multiple worlds. I was not having this issue in August.  I have never had mods, only expansion packs and kits. Please assist.

    I am also getting the same issue. Whenever my sims travel to a house or another building the building gets deleted when my sims are standing on a empty lot. Removed my mods, repaired my game, recovered save but still the same issue. This started happening when i installed adventure awaits, business and hobbies and lovestruck.

    Same issue here.  I've seen threads as old as two years stating the same issues that I'm experiencing.  Replaced lots showing as the original ones from another lot, although show as the new lots from the map screen as well as the lots being empty when I load into them either with a sim or in buy/build mode.  Being that it was reported as basically the same issue two years ago can and will this be fixed?  I've tried multiple saves to the point of getting ready to find a new game.  Oh and this happened in a save I have not even played in yet so it wasnt a corrupt save issue.  And I only had about 18 sims placed.

    This has been happening to me too..removed all my mods, repaired the game, etc and it's still happening on every save
