It was a ghost on the gallery ? Possibly that's causing issues, depending on how it made into a ghost horse in the first place.
If you a living horse to your household and let that die of old age. Do you have the same issues ?
I'll try that tomorrow and see what happens and if that works I'll just make a new save and start a new game and see if it stays a ghost horse 👌🏻🧠
RESULTS: so I made my own horse and that horse still came back alive as a living horse so it's a legit bug in either the horse ranch pack, the life and death pack or it's a base game bug 💯
